Love it or hate it, not much says Autumn more than pumpkin spice everything. It’s most definitely an autumn staple beloved my many that can be added to so much, including this incredible Pumpkin Spice Smoothie for an easy, healthy and tasty breakfast.
I realize we are entering the darker cooler part of the year (Hello October!) but for me smoothies are absolutely a year round staple in my morning meal and snack rotation. If they aren’t for you, this smoothie might just change your mind!
Incorporating unique seasonal flavours into your meals is an excellent way to live seasonally day to day throughout the changing seasons.
Plus, for the kitchen witch in you, this smoothie is packed with properties for success and prosperity, especially because of the pumpkin which is just so great for all things money, wealth, and prosperity.
First though lets begin with a little health overview, because this smoothie is not only energetically rich but is packed with essential vitamins and minerals to keep you energetic and satisfied all morning long.
Pumpkin Spice Smoothie: Health Benefits
Rolled Oats (the extra thick variety are particularly good)
- Rich in anti-oxidants
- Contains B Vitamins
- Source of Manganese, Phosphorous, and Magnesium
- Great source of Fibre
- Can lower cholesterol and blood pressure
- Helps control blood sugar
- Good vegan source of protein
Pumpkin Puree (canned or freshly made if you are ambitious)
- Excellent source of Vitamin A
- Source of many essential minerals such as Potassium
- Great fibre content
- High in anti-oxidants
- Helps boost immune system
- Low calorie
- Benefits heart health
- Great for skin health
Banana
- Rich nutrient source
- Benefits digestion
- Excellent source of Fibre
- Anti-oxidant and phytonutrients
- Keeps you satiated
Ceylon Cinnamon (known as ‘true cinnamon’ and packs the most health benefits)
- Another amazing source of anti-oxidants
- Anti-inflammatory
- Lowers blood sugar
- Heart healthy
- Has anti-bacterial & anti-fungal properties
Ground Flax Meal
- Source of Omega 3 Fatty Acids
- Good protein content

Oat Milk (you may substitute this with any milk of your choice)
While not the same as eating a bowl of oatmeal it still contains some good stuff!

- Low fat
Some brands will fortify with extra vitamins such as Vitamin A, D, and B’s. It is best though to get a brand with the fewest ingredients. My favourites are ISOLA BIO, ELMHURST, and CHOBANI.

- Many of us require a little bit of a protein boost into our days.

- A lot of protein powders unfortunately have many additives. Be sure to buy high quality if you are going to use one.
- Another alternative I like to use is pure Pumpkin Seed Powder. It comes unflavoured and is honestly pretty tasteless, so you don’t even notice it’s there lol.

Vanilla – love, beauty, passion
Flaxseed – healing, money, protection, beauty, psychic abilities
Maple Syrup – love, prosperity, wealth, joy
While preparing your smoothie, focus on manifesting prosperity and success into your life. How do you want this to feel? What goals do you want to accomplish? Visualize how your life will look once you reach these milestones.
Pumpkin Spice Smoothie Recipe
Makes 1 Serving – Total Prep Time: 5 minutes
- 1 cup Oat milk
- ½ cup Pumpkin puree
- 1 Banana
- 2 tbsp Whole rolled oats
- 1 tsp Maple syrup (more if you enjoy your smoothies extra sweet)
- ½ tsp Pumpkin pie spice
- ¼ tsp Cinnamon
- 1 scoop Vanilla protein powder (optional)
- 1 tbsp Ground flax meal
- 2 ice cubes
- note: you may use 1/2 tsp vanilla extract in place of the protein powder if you wish
Preparation
- Add all ingredients into the blender.
- Blend for 30 – 60 seconds.
- Pour into a glass, close your eyes, and recite:
‘I welcome prosperity. Let the energies flow free. I am open and ready for blessings to come unto me.’
